Members of the Work in Progress Circus, a troupe of politically aware thespians, perform their businessman-oppresses-the-poor routine during last Saturday's march against the Multilateral Agreement on Investment (MAI), the proposed deal that would see trade and investment barriers fall among 29 of the world's richest countries. "The MAI looks out for its own tiny elite and lets the rest of the world become an amorphous mass of consumers," said Michael Pinsonneault, one of the demonstration's organizers. Approximately 200 people attended the rally, which capped four days of anti-MAI activities. Photo by Gunther Gamper>>>
