<<< This youngster's expression apparently seems to sum up the grassroots reaction
to the recently-formed Mothers Against Their Children Having to Leave Quebec, or MATCH-LQ, an organization making the unique, never-before-heard accusation that young anglophones are leaving the province and that the poor economy is a direct consequence of Bill 101. MATCH-LQ held a candlelight vigil at Beaver Lake on Mont Royal last weekend, attended by about 12 people--all of whom forgot to bring candles. Apparently everyone else was too busy to participate in the event--or perhaps they didn't have the time to make the trip up from Toronto. Photo by Gunther Gamper
