Depending where we stand after game four on Saturday afternoon, by late evening the city could resemble a euphoric Walt Disney utopia, or by bleak contrast, an Orwellian police state. Of course, the standing caveat provides that the second scenario doesn’t necessarily reflect the outcome of the match. The only certainty right now is that this town is battle-hungry.

Fittingly, post-game on Saturday, May 22, seek revelry and/or shelter at Club Lambi, but know that you are entering a theatre of war. Canadian national battle league King of the Dots and Montreal chapter delegate Loe Pesci invite you to area round three, where Montreal’s biggest mic bullies will beat on a bunch of bow-tied poetry dorks from Toronto. La Coka Nostra’s regular line-up includes the entire House of Pain, so go nuts and hopefully they’ll come back crew deep. And, yes, they’ll have the game on pre-show.
