BLOCK HEADS

(She’s a) Brick house: James May, aka Captain Slow, co-host of the BBC’s Top Gear, is attempting something no one ever has (or should)—he is building a real two-storey house out of LEGO. Not a playhouse, but a life-size suburban-style home with a working toilet and shower (presumably requiring LEGO plumbing.) Is he crazy or merely insane? Decide for yourself at bit.ly/15hqaJ.

Turning Japanese: So who among Networthy readers is a huge geek at heart? If you don’t know the word “Otaku,” you can step out now. If you do, then you probably have a little collection of random Japanese weirdness hanging around (unless you have a big collection) and you would certainly appreciate Otacool, Akihabara-lurker Danny Choo’s tribute to Otaku Rooms, otherwise known as geek spaces. See the messy bedrooms of devoted anime fans the world over, plastered with hentai wallscrolls and schoolgirl-tentacle figurines. You can even submit your own for inclusion in an upcoming book at figure.fm/feature/en/otacool/.
