In the Western world a lowly blogger from Florida might try his hand at getting word out on what Goldman Sachs is really all about. But, faced with unflattering criticisms, the financial titan and governmental rube hatchery has an equally Western recourse. They hire themselves some lawyers.

Blogger Mike Morgan, a registered investment advisor, believes Goldman Sachs is an “evil” entity whose role in creating the current global economic problems needs to be explored. With topics like whether or not Goldman Sachs manipulated the stock market or scammed their way into turning federal bailout money into huge profits, it took just two weeks for Morgan’s site, goldmansachs666.com, to raise Goldman’s ire. That ire first manifested itself to Morgan as a cease-and-desist from Goldman Sachs’ Wall Street neighbours at Chadbourne & Parke.

“It’s just another example of how a bully like Goldman Sachs tries to throw their weight around,” wrote Morgan. “This is a clear violation of our constitutional rights.”

Morgan has no intention of shutting down and is instead looking for volunteers to help keep the site alive.
