Kiss kiss bang bangMontreal’s bad boy of porn Pierre Fitch |
![]() LARGE AND IN CHARGE: Pitch by MATTHEW HAYS Approximately 10 seconds into our interview, and Pierre Fitch has to tend to his Blackberry. One of his distributors is messaging him. The month’s residuals are in from just one of his DVD sales. He holds up the Blackberry, which flashes a figure of close to $3,000. “See? That’s just one of my DVD title’s sales—for one month! That gives you an idea of how much I’m making.”
He is perched at his favourite restaurant, a sushi joint in the heart of Montreal’s Gay Village, where waiters appear thrilled at the privilege of serving the celebrated Fitch his raw fish. “I love sushi,” Fitch says, in between mouthfuls. “I eat it every day. It has no fat and is full of protein.” Fitch is so full of tips, it prompts me to suggest he should write a Martha-Stewart-style, how-to book for the aspiring porn stud. He laughs at the suggestion. “I don’t read books. I’ve never read a book, I get dizzy after a few pages.” What Fitch does do is work very, very hard to keep the marketing machine going, while seeking out new talent to break in on one of his DVDs or sites. Still ludicrously baby-faced, Fitch has to remind me that he’s already a seasoned player, with close to a decade’s experience under his belt. “I got very turned on by a porn mag I saw when I was 16,” he recalls. “That was in Cornwall, where it wasn’t cool to be gay at all. I dated girls but always had eyes for the boys. Just a few days after my 18th birthday, I sent out photos of myself to a bunch of studios that had been advertising online. Within a day, I had an offer and got on a plane to California.” There, Fitch would work for Falcon Studios, gaining a solid rep as a hung, hungry bottom. “I saw how they worked,” Fitch says. “And then I cancelled my contract and did it on my own.” At 19, he told his parents both that he was gay and that he was doing porn, and then moved to Toronto. Growing upFitch says he had always been handsome—endowed with dark Italian features—but that a funny thing happened on the trek through puberty at age 15. “My cock was an okay size, but suddenly it started to grow. It was fucking amazing! It kept growing, and by 16, it had doubled in size. It’s about 8.5 inches, six inches thick. It’s very fat. I love my cock—thank God I have a big piece. People always want to play with it, touch it, look at it, feel it. It’s a money maker.” Fitch did initially make a name for himself by bottoming, but says it has been fun to branch out. “I get bored easily. And you know what? I love to fuck! So much! And in every position. Make the guy suffer a little. Take it, bitch! People e-mail me all the time: ‘I want to get fucked by Pierre Fitch!’ Well then, take it! Do you know how many people want to get it from me? I get over 1,000 e-mails a day.” Fitch, who acknowledges he has Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), says he has trouble sitting still for even a few seconds. He describes his latest site, Meetpierrefitch.com, as a combination of YouTube, Facebook and MySpace, allowing fans to connect with each other and post their own profiles as well as ogle Fitch and his friends. He works out five times a week with a personal trainer, but is also an avid kickboxer, and plans to turn that talent into a porn vid shot entirely in the ring, tentatively titled Fitch Fight Club. Now single, Fitch concedes having a stable relationship has been difficult. He now admits that his 2005 marriage to fellow porn star Ralph Woods was never official or legal, “but it was a great bit of marketing, our names were everywhere. I won’t get legally married. I like my stuff too much—I’m not handing 50 per cent of it over to anyone.” Fitch won’t divulge precisely how much he makes. “But I make a very good living. I eat out whenever I want. I get very excited when I shop. I have six plasma TVs, one for the bathroom even. But I don’t think I’ll be doing porn acting in two years. I may be directing or producing, but I won’t be appearing in them, at least not year-round. It’s hard to keep a boyfriend when you’re doing that. “I don’t want to be alone all my life.” |
