If you ask me, nothing brings out the sexiness of a hot summer evening like the music of an oft-accused sex offender, so it was pretty sweet to find out that R. Kelly’s new album leaked recently. The album is still without an official release date, and until the leak, there was still debate as to whether it was even finished. But cast those doubts aside now, friends—the record, 12 Play: Fourth Quarter, is here! The track currently floating around on the net is “Skin,” which a spokesperson has confirmed is the second single, a video for which is being filmed presently. You can download it at tinyurl.com/6q6cpr, and listen to Kelly express his appreciation for a lover’s skin. “I’ll be touching your skin/feeling your skin,” he sings, and then later, “Here’s a preview of what’s gonna go down/Girl, I’ll be flipping your body/So I hope you act robotic… I’ll push it and grab it/I’m in you, you’re screaming/I wanna treat it like my house.” Yeah! If you’re the type that wants to stay ahead of, or at least on, the curve of certain you-know-whos, you might want to check out Japanese Motors, who were just signed by Vice Records and will have a single released this coming Tuesday. They’re heavily entrenched in the California surfing community (singer Alex Knost is a pro surfer) and it shows in the music.
