Ill communication: Last week, Rogers announced its iPhone data plans, and Canadian early adopters (okay, not the real early adopters—lots of people have been running around with Jailbroken U.S. iPhones since last fall) collectively vomited in terror. Well, one brave soul decided to stand up and stick it to Big Teddy, accusing him of ruining the iPhone. As of presstime, over 20,000 Canadians have signed a petition calling for Apple to rebuke their Canadian partner for charging a data rate that is a gazillion-bazillion times higher than the U.S. price. Stand up for nerd solidarity at ruinediphone.com.

Pac-Mud: Back in the olden times, before Wii and iPods and the Internets as we knows them, there were two kinds of computer games—the texty kind with caves and coins and ye olde flagon, and the graphicky kind with bleeps and bloops and jagged lines. Pac-Txt attempts to reconcile the worst of both, combining tedious, repetitive gameplay with no graphics in a text adventure based on Pac-Man at Pac-Txt.com.
