Kill pill

While the 1973 Roe v. Wade decision gets all the attention from the anti-choice movement, eight years prior, a different landmark U.S. Supreme Court decision pissed off the far-righters concerned about who was doing what with their ins and outs. Forty-three years after it was handed down, Griswold v. Connecticut, which gave married American couples the right to use contraception as they saw fit, is being remembered—and protested. Under the banner “The Pill Kills Babies,” the American Life League, Pro-Life Wisconsin and Pharmacists for Life International have united to try to convince the masses that using birth control pills doesn’t prevent the need for abortion, but is actually murder unto itself. Using long-dismissed science on how the pill works, and referring to wayward sperm and ova as “the tiny baby boy or baby girl,” the PKB contingent claims the dastardly pill can be blamed for 70-million “chemical abortions” in the past decade alone. The like-minded are urged to join the ALL in protest on Saturday, June 7 in front of “clinics that distribute this killing poison.” by SCOTT SAXON |
