Leaf me alone

Foliage: It started with a single illustration comparing the effects of alcohol vs. LSD on human-tree relations. The LSD subject hugged the tree whereas the alcohol subject urinated on it. The tree was not affected in either case. That’s when people got creative, illustrating the effects of other substances and influences, ranging from ecstasy to cannabis, beavers, genome modification, communism, typefaces, Chuck Norris and J.R.R. Tolkien at wallout.com/lsd_vs_alcohol_vs_tree.

Pay a fee: Letters from Johns is exactly what it sounds like—anonymous confessions submitted by all kinds of men (and quite a few women) about their encounters with prostitutes. Some are one-time events, others make a habit out of it, but all describe their experiences in honest, detailed, but not overly lurid terms, and the stories are about loneliness as much as horniness. Witness spectacular displays of shame and self-loathing (or conspicuous absence thereof) at lettersfromjohns.blogspot.com.
