Man bites dog

Nuts with that?

While there is probably some evidence somewhere that Facebook isn’t just for self-aggrandizing assholes and the intellectually flawed, no trace of that evidence will be found on either Facebook or at a St. John’s, Nfld, Dairy Queen. With their profile viewing options set to “public,” employees at the Topsail Road DQ uploaded a brief cellphone video to their Facebook group.

Cracked wide open by the CBC’s Lee Pitts, St. John’s television viewers were treated to scenes of a snowball fight between employees before some skinny kid is shown hanging his pasty ass out the drive-though pick-up window. “You should wipe that,” the employee is heard to say, before Pitts points out the employee’s failure to wash his hands.

Franchise owner Albert Buott seemed shocked to discover what sort of help he’d hired. “Good God Almighty,” he exclaimed. “Where’s my managers?”

The offending video has since been removed, and some people will undoubtedly be looking for a new source of minimum wage earnings, but that mightn’t be the end of it for Buott. Provincial food inspectors said they will be paying the Dairy Queen a visit.
