Man bites dog

Unarmed
but deadly

On seeing an armless man, one might feel sympathy, even pity. But beware. Lurking within that limp-sleeved chemise might be the heart of a killer. At least, that will be the case Snellville, Georgia, police might be trying to make should their investigation lead to charges against William Russell Redfern in the head-butting death of Charles Keith Teer.

According to a witness, Redfern and Teer got into an altercation stemming from Redfern’s relationship with a woman Teer used to date. After noticing the woman had been knocked down during his melee with Teer, Redfern, who is missing one arm entirely and has only the stubby remains of the second, charged Teer and delivered a clearly impressive headbutt.

Teer stumbled, complained of dizziness, then fell down dead.
