Pee stirs shit

It’s the sort of thing the Italian national team might do, were it not for the fact they spend so much time rolling on the pitch. Looking to make some sort of statement to their soccer rivals at Boston’s Medway High School, the players of Holliston High varsity girls’ team allegedly visited Medway’s field, squatted and unleashed streams of contemptuous pee. Then, because peeing on something doesn’t feel as rewarding if no one knows you’ve done it, they posted pics of the act on the Internet. Soon Medway caught wind of it and the story worked its way up to school officials on both sides.

Accused players from the Holliston Panthers insist they were just pretending to pee, and even Medway’s school superintendent, Richard Grandmont says the photos “did not 100 per cent substantiate whether there was actual urination taking place.” To be safe, though, the Medway field was disinfected.

Both schools feel there’s no need for police to get involved. Holliston has said the offending players will be disciplined, and the Panthers might have to forfeit the two games they were to play against Medway this year.
