Topical irritants

Supadupafly: It looks like a Mad Magazine spoof of Pimp My Ride, but unfortunately, the Stutz Diplomatica is all too real. Only seven of these monstrosities, essentially a tastelessly modified boxy early-’80s Cadillac, were hand-built in Torino, Italy, by a crew of craftsmen apparently selected for their complete absence of restraint and common sense. No surprise then, that six of these over-the-top pimpmobiles were sold to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The last is registered in California and offered for sale for $150,000 at www.stutzdiplomatica.com.

Achoo! If you’ve been sniffling and sneezing due to the season, you’re probably fantasizing about what you would do to a grain of pollen if you could take it on, mano-a-mano. Or should that be mano-a-nano. Take an electron microscope and zoom in on some pollen, and you’ll see it’s some pretty scary stuff, like little sea urchins and evil-looking cowrie shells. Blow it out your nose at upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/a/a4/Misc_pollen.jpg.
