Looks Are deceiving

Crazy by design: Dutch designer Studio Oooms appears to be the collaboration between a white-coated mad scientist and a black-turtlenecked conceptualist, with a dose of vintage Mad magazine thrown in for good measure. Check out their Wireframe Chair, which looks like a computer model, the USB Memory Sticks (made with real twigs), their plastic skis that can retrofit any chair into a rocker, and the anti-gravity machine, a ladder-like device that lets you play basketball like a slow-motion Michael Jordan. Plus staple jewellery and delft dildos at www.oooms.nl.

The amazing race: Ever wonder how you’d look in 50 years? Or as a (wo)man? Or as a black/white/Asian/Indian guy? Maybe as a Modigliani painting? Or a hideous, chimeral, half-human, half-chimpanzee? Or a blue-haired, big-eyed Manga character? Kawaii! All you need is a face-on photo of yourself (or your victim), a Web browser with Java and the St. Andrews Face Transformer at www-old.cs.st-andrews.ac.uk/~morph/Transformer/.
