Book ’em: Read All About It was a mid-’80s educational kids’ show on TVOntario that was everything Reading Rainbow and Sesame Street weren’t. When the child stars weren’t running a newspaper alongside a living computer created by their dead uncle, they were battling the evil Duneedon, a silver-fleshed flying head bent on universal domination straight out of the most pants-shitting Doctor Who episode. This show was so scary, that you probably think you dreamt it—well, the Read All About It fan page will get all those terrified memories flooding back at www.rickstv.com/tvo/read.html or search YouTube for the episodes. Size matters: In March of 2005, G4TV built the world’s largest functional NES controller, and it was freaking huge. They needed four stout men to operate it. Not to be outdone, less than three months later, the same team created the world’s smallest functional NES controller, about the size of a quarter, and possibly usable by a trained insect.
