Don't stop believing

Just wrong: It’s hard to say what’s more amazing about Los Angeles comedian and YouTube sensation Ari Shaffir: the fact that none of the victims of his racist reality TV pranks have done him in with a shovel or baseball bat, or that so many of them have no problem signing release forms. He truly merits the name the Amazing Racist, whether it’s cruising Watts in a KKK robe, cruelly driving Mexican day-labourers to the INS instead of a jobsite or mocking a middle-aged married couple of Japanese-Hawaiians for their ironic nationality (“did you guys bomb yourselves?”), it’s cringinglyawful—just type in “The Amazing Racist” on YouTube.

Geberling! This ultra-lowbudget spoof of Tron and Star Wars relies on bad special effects and good writing to be hilarious. “No rules” programmer Ken Gemberling, a funnier, fatter version of Jack Black, gets transported into the Internet by pouring beer onto his keyboard. He must save the Net while pursued by a bounty hunter. Rob Corddry co-stars at www.channel102.net/show.php?show=2.
