Don’t know jack |
|
It’s safe to assume a carjacker should have that whole driving thing down pat. Despite having at least three jacks under his belt, that seems to be where Danilo Rivera went wrong. The 28-year-old is accused of carjacking his first vehicle of the day in Hartford, Connecticut. When he crashed it outside a fast food joint, Rivera immediately jacked another car to flee the scene. Inside it was a seven-year-old boy, whom Rivera was gracious enough to drop off just shortly before he crashed again. Flagging down a blue Honda, Rivera forced the driver out and sped off, crossing into Cromwell, CT, where he upended the Honda on a guardrail. That’s where his luck ran out. The next attempted carjack earned him a punch in the face. Rivera ran to another car, where a 150-pound Rottweiler clamped his beefy jowls down on the man’s arm. Onlookers wrestled Rivera to the ground and held him there until police arrived. Rivera is facing a multitude of charges in two counties, as well as from the state. » Scott Saxon |
