Real indie: MacJams is home to a vast library of creator-contributed Mac-made twitchy electronica and nerd-rock. It works like a Top-40 chart with new entries daily, vying for the top spot, except there’s no middleman—just the listeners and the musicians, who have a shared habit of spending all their free time huddled in front of the monitor. Set your ears on stun at www.macjams.com. Anti-sex league: You just can’t please some people. Take any newspaper article on, say, potatoes. Potato supporters will claim harsh and unfair claims against potatoes, and the anti-potato lobby will say it is just another example of pervasive media pro-potato bias. Take the New York Times, the paper of record for liberals, and possibly the Anti-Christ in broadsheet form for ultra-conservatives. See the New York Times through a right-winger’s eyes with headlines like “Come Kill Us Terrorist Comrades” and classic Michael Moore columns like “I Hate America Even More This Week” at rightwingnytimes.cf.huffingtonpost.com.
