It’s a pity it didn’t happen in Quebec, so we could have seen our less worthwhile media turn it into a French/English issue. Instead, it was in DuPage County, Illinois, where there’s no one to blame but Jamika Rush.

The 24-year-old nursing assistant, according to police, abused a senior in her care at the Elmhurst Extended Care Center. And how. Rush is accused of dripping urine on the face of an 83-year-old man. Not her own urine. That might have been kinda hot. To add to the insult, when the man asked for help in cleaning the urine off himself, Rush hurled a dirty diaper at his already defiled head.

Center Administrator John Massard says he hired Rush last September and gave her the same words of warning he gives all the new hirees: “Don’t abuse any of my residents.” Massard said he was “thrilled” to learn that Rush is facing felony abuse charges that could earn her five years in the pen.
