Man bites dog

Hershey highway

Something unpleasant is plaguing the residents of Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin. Every day, the problem gets worse and people are already talking about punishment.

“I feel sorry if we catch someone,” said Jenny Van Pool. “I’ll pull their head off.” The cause of Van Pool’s deep rage: soiled adult diapers that have been cast off into the ditch and fields that separate Braun Road from Interstate 94. Diapers left to fester or be cleaned up by the Braun Road populace.

“Why should we... have to pick up someone else’s crap?” Van Pool asked. Who’s responsible is a mystery. A stakeout of the Braun Road overpass revealed nothing. A sign that read “Take your shit home with you” was erected and the diaper drop-offs ceased, but once the sign came down they resumed. And the real mystery, the one pondered by all, comes from Van Pool’s future daughter-in-law, Sarah Renteria.

“The thing I don’t get,” she wondered aloud, “is why you would have poopy diapers in the car.”
