A lasting lesson in sex can transcend borders because, really, sex is a human thing. And no lesson can be as lasting as the one which leaves a partner dead by electrocution, as was demonstrated by a lustful Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, couple, who thought it would be deliciously naughty to stop for a quick romp at a hydro substation.

Witness Owen Phiri says it was around 7:30 a.m. when he heard a loud bang coming from inside the substation. He rushed in to find the couple had received more bang than they had planned for. Phiri told police he heard screaming from within the substation as he rushed to its door. Inside, he found an electrocuted woman badly burnt and barely alive. She later died. Her partner got off with a pair of crisped hands. The 21-year-old male was taken into police custody for questioning.

The Zimbabwe Electricity Supply Authority admitted to having left the door to the station unlocked.
