If there's one thing Warner Bros. knows how to do, it's putting together terrific DVD packages chock-full of special features. Hot on the heels of the studio's first Film Noir Classic Collection comes the Film Noir Classic Collection: Vol. 2. Showcasing some buried treasures, the set includes Fritz Lang's 1952 Clash by Night, with commentary by Peter Bogdanovich; Max Nosseck's 1945 Dillinger, with commentary by John Milius, who directed the 1973 version; Richard Fleischer's 1952 The Narrow Margin, with commentary by William Friedkin; Robert Wise's 1947 Born to Kill and the 1947 Robert Mitchum vehicle Crossfire.

From death-obsessed to self-obsessed, we have Prozac Nation, starring Christina Ricci as a moody, self-destructive college kid. Even though the advance reviews were okay, this adaptation of Elizabeth Wurtzel's autobiographical bestseller has been sitting on the shelf since 2001. This could have something to do with Wurtzel's remarks to The Globe and Mail that "everyone was overreacting" about 9/11 - either that or the way she publicly condemned the film as "horrible." Well, now you can judge for yourself as Miramax finally, albeit quietly, releases it on DVD this week. » Mark Slutsky
