Maybe you've noticed a slew of shows that have been turning up lately, showcasing the comedic talents of some of Montreal's lesser-known comics. Well, you'll have your chance to sample the Drunken Show: Menace to Sobriety II on Friday, May 20, at la Sala Rossa. Laugh along with Rodney Ramsey, Kwesi Thomas and more for $8 in advance or $10 at the door. Call 816-2879 for tickets.

Foufounes is getting ready for a nice chunk of summer hip hop shows in conjunction with Under Pressure, starting with Souls of Mischief on Wednesday, May 25. They'll share the stage with Bukue One, DL Incognito, Butta Babees and Devious. On June 1, you can take part in the return of Non Phixion to Montreal, complete with A-Trak, Euphrates, Applied Science and Buddha Blaze (sup Blaze!). It don't stop with a Sunday, June 5, show featuring a triple threat with Planet Asia, Afu Ra and Inspectah Deck, backed by Pako and Pesh, Eye 2 Eye and DJ Blast. Get your tickets now.

Milwaukee legend and one-half of the Super Noble Brothers Tom Noble will be in town on Saturday, May 21, for a night at the Goods. He's co-owner of the famous Lotus Land record store in Milwaukee, where they specialize in funk, soul, hip hop, jazz and rare-groove vinyl, so you know this guy's bound to have some deep crates. Eight dollars will get you in.

Dibondoko brings its funk-world-groove to Bobards this Thursday, May 12, for a $5 show. Show starts at 9:30 p.m., so make sure you've got a drink and a seat by then. Check out www.dibondoko.com for more details.

Montreal gives birth to yet another hip hop collective with Farm Team's mixtape launch on Friday, May 13, at Club One. This night of artists featured on the CD Escape to Paradise includes performances from M.O., Dre, Natasha Hines, Nikole Kaye, Kysshus, Rani and more. Doors open at 9 p.m., and tix are $8 at the door.

Don't miss the launch for DSTRBO's Rock Colouring Book at Blizzarts on Monday, May 16. The HVW8 man teams up with DJs Matte Silver and Robb Jamieson for this special Rock Nite extravaganza.
