Man bites dog

Munchies
turn ugly

You’d think after the hours he’s spent delivering fresh-baked joy to hungry citizens, the pizza guy would enjoy some sort of immunity from violent crime. Alas, along comes the pothead to ruin everything by stealing a pizza and punching the pizza guy in the face.

Atif Yasin had been sent to deliver a medium pizza and 20-ounce pop to a Cass County, North Dakota, customer. There was no immediate response from within but after Yasin called the customer from his cell phone, a heavy-lidded man in boxer shorts opened the door. The man took the pizza but couldn’t find any money to pay Yasin with. Instead, he offered Yasin some weed. When Yasin turned the deal down, the man got violent. According to Yasin, the customer then started yelling, shoved him and then punched him in the face. Yasin went back to his car and called the police, who later arrested the 21-year-old assailant for suspicion of robbery. Police say the man was inebriated.
