Celebrating freedom |
|
Usually, when lucking into a second chance, the thinking man will be sure to conduct himself more wisely. Among the charges against 22-year-old Randy Macleod, thinking is nowhere to be found. Macleod was picked up for drunk driving on a lazy Friday night in Spokane Valley, Washington. In fate's smiling light, the prison Macleod was to be held in was overcrowded and his name was short-strawed for release on his own recognizance. Instead of peacefully walking home , Macleod celebrated his freedom by leaving a trail of shattered glass in his wake. Police say Macleod, after leaving prison in the early hours of Saturday morning, broke over a dozen windows of 10 businesses between the jail and his front door, causing thousands of dollars in damages. From coffee shops to funeral homes, no structure was safe from Macleod's vandalous march. Along with DUI and possession of pot charges, Macleod is now also up against charges of first degree mischief. » Scott Saxon |
