Gun Play

Blop blop: Usually drive-bys are reserved for rival gang members. But high-speed photographer spytzer uses his .22 to shoot inanimate objects and his camera to capture the bullet passing through them. What happens in the first microseconds after an assault rifle bullet passes through a can of Coke, a light bulb or a row of crayons? You'll just have to see for yourself - but rest assured, these are cool explosions. Don't try this at home at www.flickr.com/photos/spyzter/sets/82850/.

Sweethearts: Remember that Simpsons episode when Ralph didn't get any Valentine's Day cards? So Lisa quickly signed one for him and dropped it into his box - it had a train on it and said "I Choo-Choo-Choose You." Well, if you have a colour printer and some cardstock, you can choo-choo-choose your own valentine with a printable version of that classic, plus the Let's Bee Friends card from the end of the episode. Spread the love at blog.deconcept.com/2005/02/02/i-choo-choo-choose-you/.
