Muy thai: 2Bangkok is an award-winning blog about popular culture and political life in Thailand, seen through the eyes of an American guy who happens to be a techie and a Hoosier (Go Indiana State!). If your knowledge of Thai culture is restricted to spicy food and sex tourism, 2Bangkok will open your eyes to weird election photos, even weirder TV commercials (with ladyboys) and the significance of McDonald's, Star Wars and The Simpsons in Thailand. See how the "melted Bart" is a symbol of tragedy at www.2Bangkok.com.

Biker boys: In a short video, a twentysomething guy goes around Manhattan at rush hour, trying to steal his own bike with the aid of bolt cutters, a hacksaw (taking six minutes to cut the chain) an angle grinder (complete with goggles and earmuffs) and finally, in front of the World Trade Center site, a hammer and spike. Eventually a bystander intervenes - he recommends vice grips. Become very paranoid about your bike at http://homepage.mac.com/neistatbrothers/movies/bikethief20041004.mov.
