Vidiot's Box

There's nothing more pathetic than a delusional woman who lives her life according to the whims of Carrie Bradshaw. You know the kind: she feels a kinship with Sarah Jessica Parker's character, just because she herself dabbles in writing and happens to share the same first name as the leading lady. But in reality, she's a little more Samantha Jones than she'd care to admit, especially after she's had a few cocktails. She's also one of many Sex and the City fans who are starting to show their claws as waiting lists for renting the complete sixth season keep growing. The two-part DVD set, lent out as individual discs, includes three hyped alternative endings, two tributes and, of course, the final eight episodes. So if you, or anyone you know, belong to this demoralizing group of anti-feminists, keep in mind that reserving both copies well in advance will eliminate the kind of ugliness usually associated with the great Tickle Me Elmo shortage.

Oh, and to the bitch at Boîte Noire who didn't return her copy of part one on time, may you burn in an eternal hell of late charges and bad shoes! » SARAH ROWLAND
